Plus Time is a "flex-time" scheduling application designed and built for use in high schools that offer a Response to Intervention (RTI) program for their students. The basic premise of an RTI program is that teachers can assign struggling students to special help sessions throughout the week, and other students can self-select sessions in a particular area of interest (art, music, athletics, etc.).
Although RTI programs are growing in popularity, they can create scheduling nightmares for school administrators. In a school of 2,000 students, running two sessions a week across 10+ different departments – keeping track of students quickly becomes impossible. Plus Time handles the logistics of scheduling and provides additional tools to track attendance and student performance.
We worked alongside a skilled educator turned entrepreneur to build a system that meets the needs of an RTI program. To capture growing market demand for an all-in-one RTI solution, we architected the application to be re-sold as a SaaS (Software as a Service) product to other schools.
Plus Time is now a thriving software business serving tens of thousands of students across several states and generating thousands of dollars in recurring annual revenue.
